81 Pine Trees

The area between Crooked Run Trestle and Thorny Point took 81 pine trees in addition to countless other deciduous trees.  But all three of the forests are planted.  There is a little more work to do with ground cover before I finish the area for the time being.  Now it is on to Hood to finish planting the forest in that area.

In addition to planting forests, I had to remove some bushes I installed yesterday.  I got a little carried away and planted bushes where the road to the Brooke station was going.  So out they came.

I also had to call in some tree trimmers.  I didn't like the tops of the pine trees where the trunk was extending above the last set of branches.  So out came the heavy duty wire cutters and off came the tops of the trunks.  I now think they look better.  Not great.  But better.
