It was a bit too windy today to paint trees (and I was pretty tired of them anyway) so I worked inside.
First task was to get the chimneys on the house. Which I did. The house comes with a rocking chair so I decided to build it thinking it wouldn't take long. Wrong! But as you can see from the picture below I did get the chair together.
Then it was on to the bulkhead at Thorny Point. I took measurements that I can use to develop my bill of material for this project. I need to get to work on the bulkhead because the piling drilling and cutting jig vendor notified me today that the jig was up. And before I can start setting pier pilings I need to get the bulkhead in place.
Lastly I moved to the layout and mixed up some "living blend" of static grass and also mixed up some more scenery glue (50/50 glue and wet water).
I then applied the glue.
And the static grass.
(Working under the upper deck posed some problems since my static gun was just about the length of the height clearance between decks.)
A picture of the current state of affairs between Crooked Run trestle and Thorny Point can be seen on www.easton-and-potomac.com.
