Today was one of those VERY RARE days in February, warm and calm.
So outside I went to get some painting done. Below is my makeshift spray booth. (I used to use the back of my truck but since that is gone I needed to come up with something else.)
I was able to get all of the undercarriages painted and I believe I have all of the box cars painted. I also believe I have all of the silver painted for the refers. I still have several coats of white to apply for the refers. In the picture below I am applying the fourth coat to the Easton Ice Company refers and the one remaining Hood Brothers refer. (The Hood Brothers refer is the one in front on the right with a slight blue tint.) I will apply at least three more coats to these.

Paint Shop Open
I will let all of the cars dry for several days and then they will get a liberal coat of clear gloss for a foundation for the decals. After the decals are applied they will get a liberal coat of matte. Then they will show up in White Hall.
