Work Area and Bunkhouses

One thing I wanted when building the new work area was the ability to clamp items to the work surface. To get this I recessed the center two drawers and placed a filler block under the top to give a good clamping area. This came into use today when I cut the cinderblock forms for the bunkhouses.

In the picture below you can see the miter box clamped to the work surface and the length guide clamped to the miter box. This made easy work of the ten cinderblock forms.

To see the current state of the bunkhouses go to www.easton-and-potomac.com.

I was also able to get outside and get the final five box cars painted before the wind came up. Now I am ready to apply the clear coat during the next good day.
