Today I continued working on getting the Gypsolite painting around the helix hatch perimeter. I worked on both the Furnace and Hopkins Spring sides of the helix. The picture below is on the Hopkins Spring side. Tomorrow I will get the Gypsolite painted across the top and down the right side of the lift out patch. I will then be able to remove the helix hatch and finish the rock castings, the Gypsolite and the basic earth to this part of the layout.
I was able to finish up the Furnace side of the helix hatch parameter and a picture of the rock castings along side the Furnace side of the Swift Run tunnel is on http://www.easton-and-potomac.com/. Tomorrow I plan to continue on around to Stanley with the Gypsolite. Gypsolite is very easy to work with and progress is quick. It also cleans up very easily.
