We Have Pine Trees!

Or at least something that might look like pine trees.

I was able, after some trials and tribulations, to get all 100 pine tree armatures painted and about 40 of them flocked.

The CHEAP airless spray gun lasted about 15 minutes and then I don't think the piston was moving because no paint would come out even after very good cleaning.  It did later work for about 30 seconds but that was it.  So it was off to Lowe's to get a cheap garden sprayer which managed to work long enough to finish the painting.  In fact it was still working when put up.  But at $8.00 I don't really care.

Tomorrow I hope to finish flocking the pines and start on the deciduous trees.

To see the first 40 pines go to www.easton-and-potomac.com.

In this picture the CHEAP airless spray gun has just decided to stop working.  So soon it will be off to Lowe's to get a cheap garden sprayer which will actually finish the job.
