Well it appears to be that time again. Time to make trees. I have two Super Saver boxes that need prepping and flocking. These two boxes should produce around 600 trees. Along with the 100 pine trees that also need painting and flocking, that should be enough for a few days of planting. I hope to be able to get the forest from Crooked Run trestle to Thorny Point completed along with the forest coming into Hood. If anything is left over then the forest between Hopkins Spring and Lacey Springs will be planted.
I have decided to try and devote about 1 hour a day to this process until it is done. Given the number of trees this should take me to sometime in late March. Just in time for the weather to come around so I can do the painting and flocking outdoors.
