Parking Lot Enlargement

Today Easton Transfer Company in Brooke started the process of expanding its parking and access lot.  It seems a 1923 Ford stake bed truck is longer than you would think.  Once I placed it at the loading dock door its front wheels were in the woods.  So much to my dislike some scenery came out today.

In this picture the plaster wrap and gypsolite have been removed.

In this picture the plaster wrap has been reinstalled flatter to facilitate the access lot.

In this picture the patching plaster with some black tempera paint added has been applied and smoothed.

And this is the culprit that caused all of this extra work.  There are now four vehicles on the layout, one under construction and twenty four in inventory.  And I am about to place another twenty seven on order!

The remaining processes to finish the lot expansion are to apply a second plaster coat (if needed), add the gravel, paint and weather.

After expanding the Easton Transfer Lot I cut the remaining 50 pilings that will go under the pier at Thorny Point.  I now have 120 ready for staining.

And I started on a cardboard building for the Green County Co-op.  I have decided to fill in all of the missing structures (including team track loading docks) and get rid of the wood blocks that have done their duty for so long.

I think I have more than enough projects to keep me busy for quite a while.  And I didn't even mention trees!
