Too Windy For Trees

I had hoped to be able to get outside today and start painting my trees.  But the wind was blowing too hard.

So I moved inside.

First I re-measured the piling drilling and cutting jig and I believe I have this ready for manufacture.

Next I installed all of the windows and doors on the house.  (See picture below.)  I had hoped to get the first coat of gray and black washes on but some of the glue seams kept coming apart so I applied a liberal amount of Ambroid glue to the seams.  Tomorrow I hope to get the corner trim installed and then paint.

To wrap up the day I went into the train room.

First I painted some more areas black that will be receiving water treatments and then I applied the brown ground foam to the forest areas around Brooke and between Brooke and Thorny Point.  (If you want to see where the forests will be between Brooke and Thorny Point go to www.easton-and-potomac.com to see a picture of today's work.)  Tomorrow I will apply some more glue where the ground foam is not secure and this area will be ready for planting.
