Don't Try This At Home Update.

I decided to wire a third light and install it next to the fascia.  Below are two photos.  One with lights in every other opening and one with lights in every opening.

The every opening installation gives a much more consistent light and probably is the way to go.  But this will require an additional 10 lights and a lot of the openings will have to be modified to allow for a light install.

 

The jury is still out.
