I finally got back into the layout room today and back to work on scenery. I applied some gloss medium to the black areas around the west end of Furnace where the "living" blend of static grass will go.
I then applied the glue and forest cover ground foam to some areas from Swift Run around the peninsular divider and over to the bridge just before the Hopkins Spring water tower.
Tomorrow I hope to apply the static grass to what will be the wet areas around Furnace and start on the forest from Swift Run around the peninsular divider to Hopkins Spring water tower.
Once the forest is complete in this area I will continue out onto the helix top.
As usual a picture of today's progress is on www.easton-and-potomac.com.
