Today I was able to get the Tsunami decoder from #40 installed into #34. Now both engines have decoders installed. #33 still needs a cam wiper installed and #34 needs the cam and wiper as well as the headlight installed. I am also considering adding some wipers to the leading and trailing trucks for better pickup. And after reading about using Kadee coupler springs for wipers I may install these on #33's tender trucks. That will give me seven right rail pickups and four left rail pickups.
In the picture below #34 is in the foreground and #33 is just in front of #34. Both are on my test track.
I will probably do some painting on #34's boiler assembly before wiring up the headlight and re-installing the boiler assembly.
