Today was engine maintenance day. All of the engines that get used on a regular basis got their wheels cleaned and some conductor lube on the contacts.
After that was done I installed a keep alive module in engine #30. It seemed to work on the test track. Tomorrow I will test it on the layout.
The next engine to get a keep alive is #94, the box cab in Thorny Point. Hopefully that will be installed before the next session.
We will see how these work and if all is good, #50, #51, #44 and #43 will also get them. That should take care of electrical contact issues.
I wonder what Murphy will have in store next when he can't operate in this arena?
