Signs & Hood Brothers

Today my main effort was on the Hood Brothers Packing plant.

But before that I installed some signs.  There are now signs on the layout that denote the property of the N&W, RF&P and Southern.  There are also no trespassing signs for Crooked Run trestle and yard limit signs for Thorny Point.

(Yes the Thorny Point yard limits do extend to Brooke.  Now the Thorny Point yardmaster doesn't have to worry about #110 getting into Thorny Point before he gets in the clear in Brooke.  The new process will be for the engineer to contact the RF&P tower operator who will contact the Thorny Point yardmaster for permission to clear the diamond and allow #110 into Thorny Point.  At least that's the theory.)

After installing the signs it was on to the Hood Brothers Packing plant.  When I got ready to glue the walls together I didn't have any rubber bands large enough to hold the walls in place.  Luckily Marlene was out running errands and when I called here she was at The Dollar Store.  She managed to procure an assortment of rubber bands and some were just right for the job at hand.  (Sometimes things do work out.)

After getting the main plant building walls up I moved on to the stairway to heaven.  The picture below shows the current state of the main processing plant for Hood Brothers Packing.
