2 #76s for 176

That is how many #76 drill bits it took to drill that many holes today.  Those 176 holes were on the four Central Valley cars for the grab irons.

Of all the open projects the cars are making the most progress.

Tomorrow I hope to get the three E&P flat cars, the E&P SL boom car and the E&P SL crane out of the lettering shop.

The Central Valley VM box cars have all of their trim installed, all of their under body detailed installed and their couplers installed.  What is left are the walkways, the grab irons, brake wheels, doors and vents.  Plus some final painting.

The Ambriod kit is at about the same point.  It still needs its trim, walkway, doors, grab irons and brake wheel installed. And of course some final painting.

All of the new rolling stock should be ready for the July session.
