Odds n Ends

Today was a clean up day.

In the morning I adjusted the two pilings that I could not get driven down deep enough and then cleaned up the area.  Next I added locator strips around the Thorny Point station to keep it from getting too close to the track.  I then cleaned up the rest of the layout room.  Next item was to get the power isolator for Thorny Point replaced.  That went better than expected and now Thorny Point is back on its own power district.  I then ran an engine around the Thorny Point and Brooke areas to make sure everything was working.  I also ran engine #30 over to Flat Top to test the clearances of the Green County Co-op loading docks and found one area that needed trimming.  On the way back to White Hall I checked out a Bad Track Order for the caboose track turnout but could not recreate the problem, of course.

The afternoon had me cleaning up the workshop area, fixing a Bad Order car and closing the day by adding some more vegetation to the Brooke area.

The layout is ready for the next session scheduled for June 15th.  My efforts between now and then will be on the Thorny Point bulkhead and pier.
