Since it has been a while since I posted an update on the layout construction I thought it was time to do just that.
Right now my focus is on trees. (Again!) As of today the 200th deciduous tree is on the cloths line drying after its matte medium soaking. And 100 conifers (pine) tree amateurs have been created.
Based on this progress I should have all 350 or so deciduous trees through the matte medium process and ready for paint by the first week of April.
April should be the painting and flocking month and hopefully May will be the planting month. And if all goes well the forest should reach Hopkins Spring on the upper deck and past Brooke on the lower deck.
