As part of the preparation for applying the gypsolite between Brooke and the Brooke trestle I had to installed some foam board to raise the station to roadbed level. The picture below shows the station in its proper position and the location of the RF&P signal relative to the station, close! The other black foam board between the RF&P tracks indicates the raised platform between the tracks for access to the north bound RF&P trains. After installing this foam board I went back to work on the rock castings around the Brooke trestle and finished them. I then applied all of the gypsolite between Brooke and the trestle.
I AM NOW DONE WITH GYPSOLITE!!!
Tomorrow I will do the final clean up of the gypsolite, color the rocks and apply the Pony Tail (my basic earth color) to the remaining unpainted gypsolite. That will finish the basic scenery contours!
A picture of the area from the trestle to Brooke is on www.easton-and-potomac.com.
