Close but no cigar

Since we were forcasted for another 100+ day with equivalent humidity I decided it was no day for rock casting. So it was on to the gypsolite application between Brooke and Thorny Point. After getting the area prepped I started applying the gypsolite. About 2/3 the way through the process I turned over my Blue Bunny ice cream container full of water. Luckily it was on an area of the layout that had plenty of plaster wrapping and I had plenty of paper towels so most of the damage was contained. After getting the split water cleaned up I continued with the gypsolite application only to run four cups short of enough gypsolite. So it was down to the garage to get the last five gallon container of gypsolite (which of course was not easily accessible) to finish the area between Brooke and Thorny Point, which I did.
The picture above shows the area between Brooke and Thorny Point ready for a gypsolite application. A picture of the finished gypsolite application can be seen on www.easton-and-potomac.com.

Tomorrow will probably be a day off to go to Maryland to eat some steamed crabs!
