Today I finally got back to working on the railroad after almost two months. I have set myself two near term goals.
The first is to have all of the white covered on the upper level by the end of this week. To that end today I finished up the last of the cardboard stripping and plaster wrapping. (A picture is on www.easton-and-potomac.com.) Tomorrow I will start applying the gypsolite to the exposed plaster wrap and then finish by painting the gypsolite my standard "Ponytail" brown.
The second goal is somewhat more aggressive and that is to have all of the white covered on the lower level before the next OPS session. To do this I will need to finish installing the rock castings, applying the gypsolite and painting everything "Ponytail" brown.
Once I finish these two goals it is on to ballasting and "green colored" scenery!
