103 - time to work on the railroad

The thermometer here is reading 103. It was a good day to go into the air conditioned train room and starting working on my second goal, getting all of the rock castings in place on the lower level and the scenery to the "Pony tail" painted stage.

Below is the train room setup and ready for some rocking.

Today I started work on the area under the first bridge just east of White Hall which can be seen on the lower level in the middle back of the above picture.

I actually was able to finish this area which I considered the second hardest area to rock next to the area behind the trestle just west of Brooke. Tomorrow I will move over to the area under the through truss bridge. Hopefully I will be able to get the rocks installed in that area tomorrow. If so then I will apply the gypsolite to the area from White Hall to Flat Top and paint this area before moving on to the bridge just east of Flat Top.

A picture of the area I finished today is on www.easton-and-potomac.com.
