My goal before the next OPS session in June is to have all of the rock castings in place. (But then I rarely meet these goals.) A big part of this effort is the area behind the trestle just west of Brooke. I started on this area three days ago and have gotten the top layer of rocks in place. Building this area is like building a dry stacked stone wall. The process is taking a lot of castings and I will have to stop and cast some more before too much longer. Once this area is complete the rest of the castings for the layout should go quickly.
A picture of the current rock work is on www.easton-and-potomac.com.
