New seniority policy coming in 2011?

This year demand for positions at E&P operating sessions is running at capacity for which I am grateful. However with so many signing up for so many sessions it has limited the ability of some of those that have supported my operations over the years to get to a session in 2010. So I am thinking about trying something different next year that I hope will give my long time supporters access to more sessions. (All reserved positions for this year will be honored.)

Starting with the January session in 2011 I am thinking about assigning call board and extra board slots for those that sign up at least four weeks before the session based on seniority. Seniority will be determined by your FQO status, number of sessions attended and date of the request. These positions will be assigned on the Sunday following this advanced sign up period.

To help you see where you are on the seniority list I will keep the list updated and posted on the website with a link to it on the screen where you sign up for the sessions at www.easton-and-potomac.com/epops/epops_crew.html.

Any open call board slots and any extra board slots requested less than four weeks before a session will be assigned on a first come first served basis just as they are today.

I am interested in feedback on using this seniority system to assigned slots on the call boards and extra boards. (If someone has a better idea I would like to hear it.)

Hopefully this will give everyone who wants to attend a session a chance to attend in 2011.
