Maintenance month

Every January I disassemble clean and lubricate all of the motive power. And I also clean all of the track. This year I am running a little behind schedule but started on this process today. I finish seven of the eleven engines, cleaned the lower level track from White Hall to Flat Top and from Thorny Point to Hood, and cleaned the upper level track from Broadway to Hopkins Spring and from Stanley to Swift Run. Tomorrow I should be able to finish this process and have everything clean and lubricated for February's OP session. Part of this process will be to once again work on #40 the Athearn light Mikado to see if I can get it to run without derailing! I also think I will get some bull frog snot (or a tractive tire) and see if that will provide enough tractive force to make this engine useful. The Tsunami decoder in this engine sounds so good I hate to give up on this engine.
