Tonnage increase on the E&P

Today started the process of bringing as much of the rolling stock as possible up to NMRA weight standards. Flats and gons will not be close and probably will need to be kept at the back of the trains. And the hoppers will be the last to be adjusted since I will be cutting lead sheet to replace the metal end weights. I also am removing all of the ferrous metal weights in the box and refers. This should help the White Hall yard crews with the magnet uncoupling ramps. All of the box and refers currently on the layout are now as close as possible to the NMRA weight standards. This should reduce the length of the trains that can be handled on the helix. The January 16th session could be interesting as we get used to the new tonnage!
