Hood Brothers unveils new refer design

Management at Hood Brothers Packing has been looking into purchasing refrigerator cars to support an anticipated increase in business next year. After reviewing several designs they settled on the design pictured below. The cars will have white sides with silver ends and roof. The lettering will be green and black. An order has been placed for five of these cars with delivery scheduled for early next year. Hood Brothers also informed E&P management they anticipated next year's volume will require six stock cars to handle the livestock moves. As a result E&P management placed an order for six stock cars with delivery also scheduled for early next year. These stock cars will be box car red with white lettering.
