Today I finished the initial painting of the rocks and applying the basic earth color to the Gypsolite. I also got a coat of basic earth on the inside of the helix track. Now it is time to clean up the train room some and then it is on to track painting in preparation for ballasting. Below is an overall picture of the areas around the top of the helix. A picture of the painted rocks next to Hopkins Spring's water tower is on www.easton-and-potomac.com.
