Static Grass, Bushes & Corn Fields

Today was a scenery day.

It started with applying static grass in the Thorny Point area

(Static grass (the darker green) just applied in Thorny Point. )

and continued with an application of static grass in the Hood area.

(Static grass just applied to the hill between the forest and Hood Brothers Packing.)

Next I moved over to Moormans River and started on the east river bank.

(The bush branch structure applied to the Moormans River east bank.)

And finally I started on the corn field that will be at the farm just east of Flat Top.

(The corn field construction template sitting in place.)

(The 40 corn field pieces with the ground painted.  Next I need to paint the corn and tassels.  Then they will be ready to be glued together.  The construction template is sitting in front of the corn field pieces.  I will glue all of these pieces together on the work bench and then install the corn field on the layout.)

Unfortunately I need to place a scenery materials order in order to complete much of what I just started.

My focus for the next several months will be to get the mainline scenery finished!
