Above are eight color and two lettering choices Hood Brother's Packing management is considering for their new refers. The lettering must be white and the only wording options are the two listed. The roof color will be silver with the end color matching the side color.
If you have an opinion as to lettering and/or color please let Hood Brother's management know.

Keith,
Since these are period pieces, may I suggest the Tuscan Red (Left Column, Top) and/or the Gray one (Left Column, 3rd one down). My third choice would be the Green one. The others didn't cut the mustard... NOW THAT'S A COLOR! ;o)
Keith,
Still in Bahrain and finally catching up with some posts - I'd go with the Caboose Red car (left column, second from the top). Freight reefers of the period were predominately painted in light colors to differentiate them from other house cars; a Tuscan Red or Boxcar Red reefer would likely indicate a car in ice or company service, and green was far more likely to be used for an express reefer than a freight service meat reefer. Orange would be an appropriate color as well, but the white lettering limitation would make the lettering difficult to read on the car side.
